Yes of course. You can place orders in the exact same way as before. The E-Shop has been created for improved convenience and will not replace the traditional order methods.

The introduction of the new e-commerce function makes it easier than ever before to make a purchase. Via the E-Shop, you can make a purchase at the click of the button and at any time of the day. Furthermore, with no restriction on the minimum order value, you can place smaller orders than ever before.

Where have all the products gone?

When you are in the e-shop, you will only see a limited number of products. These are the products that you can order immediately online. To view all products (including those not yet available for online purchase) return to the home page and click products.

How do I search for products?

There is a search bar located at the top right hand side of your screen (underneath first menu bar) Please use this box to type in the name of the product you are looking for.

How do I add and remove items in my basket?


To add an item to your basket, click ‘add item to basket’

When you press this button, the item you have selected will be automatically added. Look out for a message on your screen telling you that the item has been successfully added to your basket.

To delete an item from your basket, click the trash can beside the product description.

How do I review and edit the items in my basket?


You can review the items in your basket at any time. Your basket can be located at the top left hand corner of your screen. Click the ‘My Basket’ button.

From this screen you can change the quantities of your order and / or remove any items that you do not want to buy.

I am having problems checking out – what should I do?

Do I need to have an account?

To place an order you will need to create an account, however you can browse our product range as a ‘guest’.

How do I create an account on www.ellsworthadhesives.co.uk ?

To register on our website, please click ‘log in’ in the top left corner of the screen (underneath our company logo)

You will then be asked to fill out some personal information including your full name, address, and email address.

You will also be asked to create a password, which you will need to use every time you want to log into your account or  to place an order.

I have forgotten my password – what can I do?

If you have forgotten your password, you can retrieve it here.

How do I log into my account?

To log into your account, select ‘log in’ in the top left corner of the screen (underneath our company logo). You will need to type in your username and the password that you created at the time of registering.

How can I change my delivery or billing address?

You can amend you delivery or billing address at the checkout stage at any point up until you have confirmed your order. Click ‘add address’ and type in the new address. Please ensure that the new address you have entered has been selected. You can also amend these addresses under the "My Account" section of the website the link to this section is under our logo. Once in the "My Account" section click on "Address Book" on the right.

Do you deliver to my address?

At present our E-Shop is restricted to the UK only. If you are based outside of the UK and would like to place an order, please contact our Customer Service Team and a member of our staff will process your order via email or telephone.

Can I use my credit account in the E-Shop?

No - unfortunately this is not possible. Payment will need to be made in advance using a credit or debit card.

Is there a minimum order value?

No. There is no minimum order value in our E-Shop.

How much will I be charged for delivery?

The standard carriage charge is £7.00 for goods totalling under 1kg. £13.00 for goods weighing over 1kg but under 10kg. A further £0.40 per kilogram will be charged thereafter.
